    Hello, my name is Johanna Naylor and my journey in life has led me here, to become an ordained member of clergy in the Church of Spiritual Humanism. I am legally ordained to perform marriages, memorial/funeral services and baptisms within the state of Michigan and elsewhere.

    My desire is to be able to help couples of all faiths and philosophies have the unique wedding of their dreams that will honor their love for one another. Your wedding should be a reflection of who you are now, your unique relationship that you are forming together and your future hopes and dreams. Therefore my personal beliefs and judgments will not be imposed upon you, as is the case with most religious ministers. I believe that being forced to say vows and proclamations you do not believe in would hinder your enjoyment of your wedding ceremony. Therefore I would be honored to write and perform a unique, meaningful and memorable ceremony based upon your love of one another. 

   Your ceremony is all about the two of you and can be as simple or unique as you wish. It will reflect your individual personalities as well as your hopes and dreams for each other. Religion can be incorporated if you wish, but is not a necessary part of the ceremony. Genuine love is all that is needed to create a warm and relaxing spiritual ceremony.

    What I can offer you is flexibility, professionalism, guidance and complete dedication to your special day. I am available to perform your ceremony at the location of your choice; lighthouses, beaches, boats, gardens, country & golf clubs, historic landmarks & parks, b & b’s, hotels, township halls or your home are just a few examples. I will work with you to customize your ceremony to fit your special needs and budget for most reasonable requests. 


    Reasonable fees ranging from $160.00-$400.00+ depending on type of ceremony and your individual needs.

       Small informal ceremony ( about 30 guests), $160.00
       Simple elopement ( couple and their witnesses),     $200.00, can include small bouquet & boutonnière, small cake, and pre-recorded music for an additional fee.( depending on your needs).
       Formal ceremony (unlimited guests) $400.00 +

     *** Unfortunately due to high gas prices, mileage must be charged for all services out of my district of Isabella county.
      60 cents per mile, roundtrip, total.
      Entrance to paid locations(parks etc.) must also be paid by couple.

    To reserve your wedding date a 50% non-refundable deposit is required with the remaining balance due prior to the ceremony taking place.
